St. Mary’s Closet Thrift Store was filled with chamber members, staff and other guests during their Grand Re-Opening Ceremony held on Oct. 22. Rev. Joseph Shepley blessed the store’s success before cutting the Stuart/Martin County Chamber ribbon. Assisting Rev. Shepley were Rev. Christian Anderson (purple shirt), (left to right) Genie DuPell, Donna Perper and Lorrett Fribourg.

Charles and Amanda Acuna, owners of Altair Salon, located at 3379 S.W. Mapp Road in Palm City, spared no expense as they
celebrated their Grand Opening with chamber members, friends and family on Oct. 23. Complete with specialty margaritas,
champagne, a full spread of hors d’oeuvres, D.J. and swag bags, guests were treated like royalty. Stuart/Martin County Chamber Chairman/Trustee Dr. Brian Moriarty, Loving Chiropractic of Stuart and Ambassador Miriam
Cala-Morrissette, MCMPM-Project Management Consulting held the ribbon as Amanda did the honor of cutting it with her
staff cheering her on.
Fred and Betty Flintstone (aka) Steven and Gisela Landwersiek of Investment Planning Group welcomed
Stuart/Martin County Chamber members to their annual
Halloween-themed Business After Hours held on Oct. 15.
The event featured a delicious hot spread, delightful spirits
and Halloween candy, along with a lively costume contest.

Two Georges Dockside Grill is actually owned by two Steves, father and son, who celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of their
Port Salerno location with a Stuart/Martin County Chamber ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 14. After 60 years as a
staple restaurant in Boynton Beach, they opened their Port Salerno location and immediately began their fabulous renovation
plans, resulting in the ultimate waterfront dining destination.
